Teamsters nationally vote to override the 3 locals holding out
Good news. The national Teamsters and their leadership have decided to override the 3 hold-out union locals in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and at WorldPort to accept the 5-year freight agreement. The issues that have been causing concern will be worked out but UPS employees, their families, its customers, its shareholders and overall operations won't be impacted while doing so. This is excellent news particularly as it would have been a huge topic at tomorrow's earnings call. Clearly, the national Teamster management didn't want to let a few disaffected employees disrupt operations everywhere since WorldPort is key to UPS success.
all three hubs should or will strike. if teamsters are willing to sell there people out . and thats who pays there pay checks with union dues then they should proably just quit paying union dues and get rid of the union all together. that would be real bad for teamsters and UPS would not want that at all. what a mess
