I think part of the motivation for the buyback here is support for the stock options that management currently holds. To keep the shorts at bay they're buying blocks down around $ 2.00-$2.12. That also helps further dilution and sets the stage for a major move up when it's all done. For me, I'm looking for some "new" institutional or additional insider buying --- that could definitely push RWC up to $ 5.00. I'm averaged in around $ 1.50 but would consider adding more shares if the P-25 product line continues to be successful.
Remember the board authorized the buyback but because of the amount traded per day, they are limited to a small percentage of shares to buyback. There is several serious buyers on this stock and when it ran up to 2.39 yesterday, there was about 90,000 hit at 2.30 and the support was tremendous.i would not be surprised with their product lineup and LMR space they are in,there are a likely takeout candidate at a much higher price .This is on my conviction list as a must have stock in my portfolio.
Smallcap what company do you think would consider buying RWC? What does LMR space mean? I have a small position but am looking to add. I had a sizable limit order a few weeks back but did not get filled. Being cautious but like how the stock seems to have support over the 2.20 level. Share some feedback thanks
Buyback from a management team and board that is very friendly to investors could take out a million shares if they do it soon. If another order is announced soon or an old contract decides to enlarge their order don't be surprised to see a large move in the stock. If the stock price ramps I think we will see a large one time payout replace the buyback.
The company is that friendly to investors.
That could be true but I think that management is confident with the P-25 product as the company inked another deal. If the trend continues which I believe will happen the stock should move up nicely from these levels. I have a small position but am looking to add to my position especially if more deals are done.
When I looked into the RWC client base, I found it amazing that they had so many diverse municipal, state and federal clients located in all geographic areas of the country. Not sure about International exposure outside of Canada. Also, multiple federal agencies including Homeland Security, Agriculture and Forest Service. Did I miss any? It's going to be very difficult to pick up any shares under $ 2.00 --- but I'll be looking.
