Bought some shares of GPL early this morning. Down a little now from where I bought it but think GPL is a stock to be in.
Hold considerably more EXK. Don't know how many of you track EXK's performance versus GPL, SLW and SLV but it outperformed SLV and SLW by a wide margin yesterday and is outperforming SLV, SLW and GPL thus far today pretty comfortably.
Interesting that these two companies have very similar production forcasts. It appears the PPS of GPR has some catching up to do. One thing for sure they both will do very well!
From the Great Panther website: These records come as the Company completes its first full year of a 3-year organic growth strategy, whereby 2010 saw a strong focus on exploration and development, new equipment purchases and plant upgrades. While these are continuing in 2011, the investments made to date will allow the Company to gradually increase production to meet its stated goal of 3.8 million Ag eq oz by 2012.
From an interview with Bradford Cooke: Mr. Cooke: Over the next 24 months, we have a number of factors that will drive our growth and presumably our shareholder value. Not the least of these factors is that we have enjoyed six years of pure organic growth. We have taken not only our resources, but also our reserves, production and cash flow, and earnings from zero to where they are today. I think this year we'll come in around 3.2 million ounces of silver production plus 16,000 ounces of gold, which is higher than forecasted. Every year for six years now, we've driven our production higher, every year. This will be our seventh consecutive year of reserve and resource growth.
