I have an advanced degree in economics with honors and a BA in finance, so I'm told that I'm an economist. I went to a technology, math, geology etc; / economic study college. To work for the US government as an economist, all you need is 21 semester hours with a course in statistics. With that, knowing the numbers that the gov. prints each month, it's not hard to understand why this country is in a mess. Of course they are told what to print. We live in a world of greed and manipulation. To overcome that I use logic which I also studied and that's more valuable for investing than meaningless economics. My favorite economist was Aristotle, also a philosopher. So that says a lot about how I about feel economists of the last centuries. If I could do live over again I would have been a forest ranger. I claim not to be right 96% of the time, you can have that honor. I claim not to be as good an investor that you may be, but I do understand what a crock money is, and the middle class is getting robbed.
