When will China off loading it's massive collection of U.S. Treasuries

With a $trillion in U.S. treasuries to burn coupled with their concern about a declining dollar, how easy would it be for China to peel off $2 billion of treasuries and offer to buy EXK for $18 a share. How could Bradford Cooke refuse such an offer. China would buy a massive flow of silver in return for downsizing it's worthless U.S. debt.

I'm kind of surprised China has not taken this approach of buying a successful silver or gold miner since countries like the U.S. could not complain that China was grabbing a "strategic" resource or company. There are lots of miners besides EXK for China to look at. And if silver or gold start rocketing up in price, China would have locked in at today's prices. Trading U.S. debt paper for precious metal producers would be a "golden" move!

    • The minerals on the land that EXK owns is worth a lot more than 2 billion. PZG has two sections of extended veins worth 1.2 billion, per news today. EXK hired more geologists and management for good reasons. El Cubo is about to go full stream, earnings will get even better and better as time goes on.
