I love to watch the jagged action of the silver price, spike up, then tear down, base, then spike up, then tear down. Makes you wonder how long the cartel can keep this pressure on. Miners do a nice pause at these most mixed up times. But it will all work itself out.
One thing Endeavor should consider is paying a dividend. To those that do, they tend to attract more folks willing to wait it out.
I'd love to see an EXK dividend in the 3% range.
Dividend would bring in Insty buyers who's charters limit them to buying stocks that ONLY pay a dividend.
Perfect example is RGR and Smith and Wesson.
One pays 3%, one pays nothing.
RGR has been on a tear, SWHC has been a dog. Both in same business, both making money.
Honestly, if they had the spare cash for a dividend, I would rather see a share buyback first. Dividend second/later. Just my thoughts on it though. But, I agree, a 3% dividend would definitely make it a more attractive buy/hold stock.
At this discounted share price, a share buyback would be a steal for management.
Beastinem- At some point in time I believe that management will start to focus somewhat on shareholder enhancement. A few quarters ago, during the Q & A portion of a quarterly conference call, an analyst asked Mr Cooke if he was considering paying a dividend. Mr Cooke responded that the company had been considering paying a dividend some time ago when the company was flush with cash but hadn't done so because the purchase of El Cubo presented itself.
Management consistently state that they are focused on growth. Additionally, they spend time and capital developing good relations in thier communities. In time, they will focus on shareholder value.
