Being in Afghanistan, I always have the pleasure of watching spot silver bounce up and down during off hours. Believe it or not, at one point this morning, silver touched $23.96 (currently up 1.93% at $23.83). I hate seeing big jumps like that only to see them diminish as we get closer to the opening bell. Hopefully today is the day we break above $24/oz. That would be a good end, to a horrible week for silver.
Beast, I appreciate your posts here. Since you love to watch spot prices like me, do you see trends with the time of day or is it just my brain playing tricks on me? ie is there usually a sharp fall at certain times and spikes at others? I'm drowning in this thing, but it helps to know others are with me. Hopefully we'll find a boat soon and sail away into the sunset!
bk, I can't say for certain that I have seen a "trend". But I can say that they love playing with the price when the market is closed. No matter whether it's up or down, it always seems to flatten out right as we get close to the opening bell. It's annoying. I have seen silver up over 2% and then literally minutes before the opening bell, it goes red. It's nerve racking.
