News, I see on the SEC filings section of EXK's website that Blackrock filed a 13G. Is that what you are referring to? I am pretty dense when it comes to SEC filings. Looking over the Blackrock filing, it doesn't look like they sold any shares. They still hold about 5% of the outstanding shares. Was this filing just routine to account for their investments? Or was there a transaction in shares on the buy or sell side?
Beastinem, There are many Blackrock funds such as Blackrock Advisors which sold out (229,800) shares. I posted about this on Feb 4?. Blackrock Group I believe bought under 2,000 shares. Blackrock Advisors I believe sold a small amount. Bank of NY Mellon sold over (500,000), Wells and Goldman sold. Portola, BMO and NPC together sold about (175,000) Royce bought 95,000, Maple Securities bought some shares, I believe over 14,000; I'm writing this from memory (trading currencies). There are many small buys and sells, but many more 13 -F INTs will flow in from the first quarter.
The Blackrock 13G on 10 Apr documents that they fell below 5% ownership. They are currently at 4.52% versus their previous level of 5.17% ownership (achieved on 30 Jan 13). They sold about 650K shares.
