Augme Technologies, Inc. (AUGT - $0.61 - Outperform - $2.00 Target )
Delaware Court Issues AUGT/P Markman Ruling
· Yesterday, AMC, in the District Court of Delaware, Judge Stark issued a Markman ruling in AUGT’s patent dispute with Pandora alleging infringement of AUGT’s ‘690 patent, “Appliance Metaphor For Adding Media Function to a Web page.” The Markman hearing was held in late February.
· Nine terms were disputed and ruled on. Of the terms disputed, the court sided with Augme’s definition on eight of the nine terms.
· Overall, we believe the Markman ruling was heavily in favor of Augme, and should be seen as incrementally positive for the stock given the market is currently assigning no value for its IP portfolio.

Miami...I think the new $2 target is with NO IP value and solely on the core business as of today. I much rather go based on this new target then on HOPES of IP. I rather we don't assign anything to the IP now and forgo the gyration of the stock and be pleasantly surprised when we are victorious. Unfortunately that is not what happens in reality. Velti and MM marksman are also though and IMO we will see similar resolution in the terms of the claims on those cases as well.
justnkz, anything that anybody says that's positive about Augme regarding material events is welcome in my book. We need all the accolades we can get. The pps is pathetic. I don't care where the news comes from, anything that may encourage someone to take a second look at Augme, and maybe convince them to hold instead of sell, or buy instead of just hold, or tell a friend/relative what good things are happening in the company is just what we need right now.
