Realty capital sure underestimated the speed by which ARCT IV closed. They don't have selling agreements in place for ARCT V from what I understand. I know they don't like follow on offerings but if it was not too expensive, they should have done a one or two money follow on to let people trapped by Computershare, Pershing, etc to get their money and move to ARCT IV before it closed (or have V ready to go). I got in but it was not easy. I am sure many people had money in the pipeline.
What other REITS are you folks using (non traded ones that is) in light of vacuum created until ARCT V gets going good with enough properties to be out of escrow, etc. Not everyone wants to own RCS Healthcare due to uncertainty as to profitability as more people will be getting free healthcare that government (us) have to pay for.
I own ARC HCT but don't want more of it. Too many reductions in medical reimbursements for providers who have to decide where to cut costs to stay profitable as they are accustomed. I might look at more for Carter Validus.
