Why are the short-term people so afraid of Pennsy getting gambling machines ? For a state that gets a lot of money from taxes, the roads aren't even up to par. Pennsy run the liquor stores and won't take them private. Gambling machines.....yeah right.....
CNBC just covered MNTG briefly, explaining that it was downgraded because of a slower than expected ramp-up, a delay in receiving some gaming machines and the possibility that other states in the region would legalize gambling. sounds like typical wall street short term thinking to me...anybody else see it that way? i can't see this giong down much until early 2002, after which it'll pick up again come the spring/summer. thoughts?
This stock can make funky moves in a short period of time. Ive seen it drop 50 cents on a couple thousand shares. If your long I wouldn't worry. We could see some profit taking in the short term but the long haul looks great.
I have been to MNTG 3 times over the last few months and each time I come back I add to my position on any weakness. The place is always jumping during afternoons and evenings.
The weather has been great here in the last 2 months (this qtr),year over year comps will look great.
