    Switching to CIM

Reik: I agree with you about going somewhere else to buy a stock that drops and then returns to previous price.
I don't have a margin acc. so I can't short, but could buy puts. All my money in an IRA. I was looking at Yahoo's historical prices for Nov 2 close $4.04
    Nov 3 close $3.86 ,18 drop. thats .04%
Thats still not bad for one day.
Thanks for keeping me on my toes.

    • And it hit 3.80 or 3.81 intra day as well.

i had 170k shares long and wish i had em all - traded many of them for 1 to 2 cents back and forth.

next time ill just load up a bigger stack for the hold and trade still but less.

for a long time i didnt think mfa was worth what it was. yield didnt support its multiple. but as its divi has improved and its near the 8.00 a buyer has stepped in

from a p/y multiple it certainly in the league of ivr, and cim, and maybe there is a small chance of offering.

but someone likes it at 8 and im a buyer there. hybrid with some core agency in it.

i like it more then i have in the past.

and it fell 5 to 6 percent to two, ivr and even cim.

im long mfa, im short the other 3 and should the others fall back; then ill have to long them as their yields are much better.
