They have a few things in the pipeline..
Yahoo could use next week's Mobile World Congress as a podium to announce customized Web content for mobile devices. This will be big for them.
Also rumored that google will buy YHOO Japan.. I do not have a lot of faith in this rumor but one never knows..
Great job my brotha. The trade was outstanding, though sadly I was not a part of it due to my lack of leaving hts, I guess I am a true fighter for the relationship to work haha, proud of you boat
Thanks, Maestro!! Yeah, sorry to hear that HTS did not work out like you wanted it to.
YHOO has multiple events happening together along with a lot of specultation that Jack Ma will buy back the 40% stake that YHOO owns.
I am also hearing that Google will make a offer to buy out YHOO. Just cannot see that happening.. RT
YHOO has had huge call action. There is a lot of speculation that:
1)YAHOO JAPAN will be sold triggering a special divi, etc.
2) Jack Ma will be buying YHOO's 40% stake in Alibaba back at whatever price as he and Carol Bartz hate each other
3)Either Google, Facebook, and even MSFT will buy out YHOO
It looks like their business is improving. Their CFO just came out today and said he is seeing good search volume trends. They also just announced their new digital publishing format which is to be active later this year.
So its appears this run might actually be legit.. We will see... Still have a long ways to go till April..RT
Actually, I am up better than 20% in 2 days. Bash all you want.
If you can spend 15 minutes doing dd and can make a decision on how to trade more power to you. I will not post here what you missed. That's way too easy.
If your intelligence has been insulted, then you have very thin skin or maybe your just an angry person. Have a good one.
Okay. I looked. Is it something more than this "Livestand" thing? Because, OMG, is that effing lame.
You think a lead albatross like Yahoo is going to shoot the moon on Yet Another Personalize-Ad Paywall Scheme?
Only if in the process it dissolves and writes off the other 99.5% of itself.
So please tell me you didn't just insult my intelligence and I've somehow simply failed to find (using Yahoo's own stock-headlines pages) a whole raft of news stories on something else Yahoo is introducing that will change the way mobile computing is grokked by the general public.
Seriously. Tell me that. Because this is like saying Ford is going to triple because it's got heated mirrors.
