How come you and HPITOUR have few posts, share the same few companies in your history but are just as idiotic? I know: Inbred siamese twins! I guess it's my fault for being an insomniac looking for intelligent conversation. Don't you have anything what-so-ever constructive, informative, or even remotely witty to post? Really?
Yes, as soon as the correction winds down. In my opinion, the market is way over sold. Money outflows to the mattress, money market, or metals pay little or no dividents. And like a returning tide, I expect to see huge inflows.
SCCO, a mostly copper mining stock, is currently at a 8.3% yield. That isn't 20% by any means, but still nothing to sneeze at. It has been beaten down some(it was at $50 not too long ago), and not only does it pay 62c a quarter, but, imo, SCCO has room to run. I also own Alcoa(AA), regardless of its paltry 3c per qtr. div., AA has approached $20 pps twice in the past two years. AA is currently around $11, a 75% or so return if ANY recovery is in our dear country's future. I'm holding AA because I only bought 400 shares but at 5.73. If AA goes under $10, 1000 shares more for me. There is talk of a buyout and the cheaper the shares the more chance of that occurring, imo. I guess I really am a cheapskate because these sale prices make me feel like a kid in a candy shop. But remember to brush. FOXY
