Percent of insider holdings:RSO.... 9.73CIM.... 4.47CYS..... 3.5AGNC..0.4http://seekingalpha.com/article/295013-dividend-scorchers-with-yields-as-high-as-20-8-reits
apples to oranges when comparing them to eachother.Gary Kain (a corporate officer) has 3 and 1/4 million dollars worth of AGNC stock at today's approximate share price. And he's probably had plenty of opportunity to unload them after the mandatory keep time ran out. That makes me a little more comfortable.
Interesting also that AGNC has one of the lowest institutional percentage holds of all the mReits:http://finance.yahoo.com/q/mh?s=AGNC+Major+Holders
I believe that the last time an insider sold CIM is November, 2009. Since then 800,000 purchased by insiders and zero sold. Interesting.
And that just goes to show that insiders FK up too.
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?s=AGNC&t=2y&l=on&z=l&q=l&c=nly%2Cmfa%2Ccim%2Ctwoor, maybe worse:http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?s=AGNC&t=5y&l=on&z=l&q=l&c=nly%2Cmfa%2Ccim%2CtwoI think I'm gonna stick with AGNC. It was spun off of ACAS, and its insiders sold out to make it a clean break, IIRC.Also, every time there's a SPO, the % represented by insiders' holdings have dropped. There've been quite a few AGNC SPOs, and they've been big. Have there been many big CIM SPOs.
