    Sold Jan Contracts Today

    Thanks! Took a shot with my profits for the year and bought the 2k contracts to finish the year off with a bang!

    The pps did head down after I posted and retested lows for at around 3:30pm at $28.92, glad I sold around 2pm when we were at $29.10, whew!

    Market makers only buy them when they can make money on the other side. Started off at $3.50 this morning at the open and had to keep pricing them down till I got them sold between $3 and $3.10.

    I expect the buyers exercised to collect the dividend once the contract prices headed lower.

    • Just to be clear I sold some at $3 and some at $3.10

      I'm not able to trade Options that trade for $3 or more by the nickel.

      • Well, my vote is that based on a man who/woman who has the gonads to buy and sell 1,994 contracts and pocket a 39% return, it has to be voted as the trade of the year based on:

        1) Level of exposure (expressed as raw guts) rating;
        2) Execution;
        3) Percentage Return;
        4) Absolute $ Return

        I consider my trades at times to be big, but that is only relative to my comfort level, but I would love to learn is this a common experience for the the "trade of the year".

        Anyone can put up any other trade, but this one got my attention.

        I can only dream of a trade at that level. Even if I could do it
