    OT: EXC

    Hi Foxy

I played EXC last divvy run up, 5/11.

Bought the 38 and 39 Calls on 4/18 and 4/20 for .10 and .35 respectively and sold them 4/26 for .15 and .60. Made a nice chunk of change.

Currently the RSI and MFI shows EXC oversold.
We had a break out this morning around 10 am. 50 day SMA broke above both the 100 day and the 200.

The weekly 50, 100, 200 SMA is pointing higher.
    BB's showing around $40 Target.

I would say it's a buy and probably a good short term trade.

I may take a small bite here but will definitely be playing a bigger position next Div.

    • Hey Roy! Thanks for your input.
Wtg making out with EXC last quarter. Your timing must have been spot on. Exc was a little shaky last quarter, and all the way up until just last week.
There was doubt that the dividend would remain at .525 until a conference last week. There the div. was deemed "safe" by an exec.
I bought way too early(in Jan.) but averaged down, selling half for a profit.
I also sold half of what was left for a small loss to get some MTGE after its recent spo.
My cost for the remainder is at 39.78 so It's either hold for a while longer or take a loss.
Since I like EXC's recent movement, I think I will hold the rest until the year's end, either for a gain or a tax-loss then, collecting the .525 div. along the way.
EXC sometimes rises in leaps and bounds. 40+(45?) could easily be seen again before long, especially after a hot summer, imo. Good luck, FOXY
