I have had Yahoo refuse to post some post that have nothing at all inflammatory in them after spending a lot of effort to write them. I am tired of it. So now every time this happens I click the "send us feedback" link at the top of the page with the question: "Why can't I post the following?" followed by the post. Maybe if they get enough of these suggestions they will get their acts together.
Raybans, I haven't seen you posting since the crazy days at TIE and RTI. I loved those stocks. I have been in AGNC for about 18 months. Great run so far. Some good info on board. Would love to find another TIE but they are rare.
After I type a long post, I copy and paste it as an e-mail, to myself. If Yahoo does not accept it, I can then edit it or beak it down and send it as two or three posts. It's not perfect, but at least you don't lose what you have spent the time writing.
If you're using Chrome, the edit boxes retain the info when you use the back button. Almost always. I still ctrl-C posts, but it's usually unnecessary.
Writing Yahoo every time they screw up is imperative, though. There have been signs that someone has been "maintaining" certain parts of the finance sites, so maybe the new CEO has lit a fire under quality control.
