AGNC regulars- Ben, Reits, Olee, Arsh, et.al. about forum woes...
Is it time to dust off the old AGNC forum that we briefy tried back in Dec 2010? After reading Turbo's message below and having a week to try the new format, what does everyone think? I rarely post so do not have much input regarding message entry, reading the posts has some drawbacks, but migration to the AGNC forum would miss out on newcomers and their new ideas. I am neutral to slightly for a move to the forum, what does everyone else think? I have the link if the decision is to use the forum for those who have lost/deleted it in the interim.
For those of us who weren't on the AGNC forums back then.. What was the old AGNC forum from 2010? How is it different than the link Foongamoonga posted recently (which takes us to the old-format, but does not share posts anymore with this new one)?
I think really this boils down to -- are the core regulars willing to focus on a forum (whatever & where ever it may be) other than this default new Yahoo forum? If we can't get enough of a commitment on that, then none of the proposed solutions (old AGNC forum, ZNXT forum, or possibly a non-Yahoo location) are going to work.
If ultimately folks were willing to try a solution other than the status quo (staying here and living with all these formidable bugs/issues), we could always post daily messages on this forum noting the location to new AGNC forum members (and reminding old ones where to go).
I seldom post but read daily - if you all go elsewhere please don't leave us in the dark. This is without a doubt the best message board in cyber space - the rest of them are mostly whack-a-doddle.
