I'm looking at historical option prices for last divi June 18,PPS was 33.61 Jan 13 call was .80.Nine days later after ex pps was back to 33.61 the Jan call was worth 1.53. So now I'm wondering if I should hold some calls till after ex .Option pricing doesn't track the pps always.
$36 will be passed tomorrow. You're doing chart analysis and ignoring the data coming out of tonight. Momentum is picking up, and will move the stock regardless of the dividend. The dividend will be priced in, but so will the fact that the dividend wasn't cut when so many other mREITs are cutting theirs.
It isn't that you can't get great information from history, it's that you can't ignore what is unfolding right in front of your face.
I hope you are right- I will start to unwind today and finish NLT Friday- Monday. Sell into the strength and quietly walkaway leaving a little on the table. Since it's 401K $$$, I am good with that. Pigs get slaughtered
