MLPs
Geez – the spammers have found us – I’ll try to consider it a free speech issue and ignore them. My MLP calls are all down about 50% - I think my courage will allow me to hang on until the end of the week and if things don’t look better I may have to salvage what I can – good luck to the others that are feeling my pain.

Ye I'm gonna get a 100% wipe in one of my CQP buys.
The good news is the CPNO I have is up over 100%.
But all and all if there is no run up I think I'm going to come out of the MLP game some where between break even and a small loss.

average PPS increase from here to ex date over the last 8 quarters has been 5% (high of 17%, low of -5%)....so maybe 22.75+/- by ex? I'm sure others will have better data, but that's my quick look at it. I'm hoping for more...I'm down big on this one too. I'll probably wait for a couple days to see if it'll go green

In the same boat...CQP hasn't announced yet, right? Is that unusual? Might they skip a divy and could that be why it's still going down?

I hope it rebounds for a lot of our sakes. I don't do options but I'm still down 10% on CQP, about BE on EPD, up 6% on UAN, and down modestly on ETP (which I intend to hold). I was really hoping CQP would rebound at least to BE because I don't want the funds stuck in their while I wait an additional cycle to recapture my losses. I just feel uneasy carrying 26% of my portfolio going forward in MLPs if I only sell off UAN and EPD going forward.

I'm new to the MLP space but bought several PAA Nov 45 calls at .$76 today. Looking at the chart there is almost always a divi run of some sort and with the ex on 10/31 it seemed like a decent risk/reward play. Good luck to all.

Yep, I'm hurting badly in CQP and PAA still but hanging on some more hoping for some improvement still.

I feel your pain, I'm down about the same. Sold some small positions today but will try to hold on til Wed or Thurs and then if things don't improve, like yourself, will salvage the rest (CQP, EPD and PAA) and move on from there.
