Is McDonald's hiring?
Thanks Obama and his parasite minions. Thanks assorted benighted panic-sellers.
Did you denigrate George Bush as vindictively a few years ago when there truly was a market meltdown? Is it impossible for you and those like you to accept resposibility for your own decisions as you demand from other's? Can you not engage in discourse without using childish insults?
It's OK we wouldn't want him to leave his comfort zone.
No praise from 09 to present when market doubled. Just pile on when one of your investments is having a bad day, typical.
It's the ENTIRE mREIT sector that has gotten annihilated the past several weeks, dipsh*it.
Anyone else you want to blame, Nick?
Yes. Mongoloid idiots like you -- 50,000,000 of them.
Dont blame Obama, you guys elected him.
Obama is not the problem. Its the people that vote for him.

Do you want a more stable dividend stock ? Try SLRC. One of the most stable stock price/dividend price in the market.
Panic selling is great. This has already regained 70 cents from todays low. I remember when the same thing happened to the credit market with VISA tanking on fears of a limit on the fees. It then returned to an ALL TIME HIGH in a very short time. Losers will be kicking themselves when this thing comes back. Until then, sit back and receive the dividends.
Retirement ? Ok, than. You mean you invested for the Long Term, right ? Interest Rates will stay low until 2014-2015, now in the short-medium term REITs have been hit for the rumors ...possibility....proposal of QE and debt repurchase (if the Congress will approve that). The price has already digested the worst , even if the worst scenario (for the REITs) hasn t come yet and perhaps will not come. Almost all REITs have fallen well below their book values. They can only go up, I don't mean tomorrow but in 1-2 years span from these prices. Haven't you realized any losses, have you ? So, your "pension" from the dividend is still there, the price will eventually goes up again.
If you wanted to speculate for the short term, so you should have sold AGNC already a couple of months ago. If you in the LT, hold on ! This is not a certificate of deposit. You should know how stock market works. There is no free lunch ,man, these high dividends also carry on a risk.Don't give up, don't sell it now,AGNC is still in much better shape than other REITs around (CIM, AI, NYMT and even NLY).
... a lot of us are in the same boat Nick, hang in there; I'm not selling, under these crazy conditions, sooner or later this #$%$ will stop; the NAV will stabilize and the divvy will go on!
