bounce or stabilization? any one can gauge?
Simple question. Three thumbs down. What could be seen unfavorably in that? lol
That is one serious bounce for a dead cat.
Sentiment: Hold
Wasn't dead.
It has to do with the report that came out.. the presentation that gary did last night. Thats why AGNC was up today.
I thought about that, too. Maybe he eased some fears and we can get another run up tomorrow.
"Low volume can mean anything, it doesn't mean low average volume. Today's volume is considerably lower than 25.6 mil, the highest volume day."
Again, a single day cannot have an average volume, so the term "low average volume" cannot be applied to a single day. You're attempt to redefine terms doesn't even pass a basic logic test.
The term "low volume" really can't mean just anything. The phrase "low volume compared to..." can be completed using any relevant metric, but that doesn't change what the term "low volume" means.
First it was "low volume". Then it was "low volume compared to down days". Now that today's volume crossed above one of the three down days you cherry picked, its just "lower than that one day".
Do you honestly think you are saving face with these arguments?
You are correct, Sabol

Low volume means low volume.
Let me help you with your english comprehension. If I meant it was a low volume day compared to average volume, I would have said, "Today is a low volume day compared to average."
Saving face? I couldn't care less about what you think. I make my decisions based on fundamentals. Not on the words of someone on an internet forum.
"You're the idiot that can't discern what a fact is.
25.6mil is greater than 14mil. It's obvious that you cannot comprehend basic mathematics."
Again, your first post:
"I'm thinking dead cat. Low volume today."(fact)
Too bad you first called it a low volume day and only started clinging to the 25 mil number after you realized how stupid that claim was.
FACT
Did I say that it was a low average volume day? NO
You assumed that. Assumptions are not facts.
I SAID LOW VOLUME PERIOD.
Compared to the very high volume DOWN DAYS, it is a low volume day.
14mil is less than 25.6mil.
THAT'S A FACT IDIOT
Dead cat for sure, just look Dec 30 puts $2.00.EOM
"Low volume compared to down days. 25.6 mil shares traded on 11-13."
That's what I posted, and unlike your comments, it's supported by facts.
-DUR LOL
"Low volume compared to down days. 25.6 mil shares traded on 11-13."
That's what I posted, and unlike your comments, it's supported by facts.-
Here's your first post:
"I'm thinking dead cat. Low volume today."(fact)
So, like I said, first this was just a low volume day. Until I pointed out we'd traded an entire day's avg volume in 2 hours (fact), only then did it become a low volume day "compared to down days".
When I pointed out the avg volume on the fall from $33 is 9.9 mil (fact), you cherry picked the three highest volume down days to say volume ranged from 14-25 mil.
So, yes, I am laughing at your childish attempts to constantly redefine the issue.
13.1 mil shares have traded so far with an hour left. Its ridiculous to say this was low volume by any reasonable standard.
I'm thinking dead cat. Low volume today.
Still, I'm impressed that 28 held so well. I have GTC limit orders for AGNC calls set.
Low volume? We've traded 7 mil shares in a little over 2 hours. Avg volume on a normal full day is just over 7 mil.
I think this is the share buyback, so dead cat.
#$%$ out there thinking that problems are gone. Up 80 cents today, down 80 cents tomorrow.
