I think there are very few in the US today that feel ALL guns should be removed. I certainly don't. I have a rifle and a shotgun for hunting and a .22 for varmints. Had a hand gun (Beretta 9 mm) for protection but sold it a few years ago as it sat unused for so many years.
We all have a Constitutional right to bear arms. This is necessary for many reasons, some of which are outlined in the 2nd Amendment. What kind of arms did the Congress have in mind when they wrote the 2nd amendment? Certainly not the kind of weaponry that the gun extremists today have in mind. Assault weapons? AA-12 Fully Automatic Shotguns? RPGs? Hell, if they could afford it, some would have their own F-18 Hornets. I'm exaggerating here, for affect, but my point is "where do you draw the line"? If these weapons are available to a few extremists or enthusiasts in the US, then they will become available to the masses. Not what I want to see.
little2lateo !!!!! I see no reason that someone could not own at F-18,F-16 or P-51 if he can afford the price and upkeep. Thats not to say he can fit it with WMD,s. Also i have never heard of a full auto shotgun. Some full auto weapons can be owned in the United States by citizens with proper license. They are used on a regular basis at the range i frequent. There are plenty of places in the world that control firearms ownership to varying degrees, anyone in the USA that does not wish to live by the Constitution of the Unites States should pick them out one. The only one i would consider would be Canada.
