    OT IPAD for trading

    I trade using Fidelity Active Trader Pro. I'm not a pro, that's just the name. I travel quite a bit and have actually traded options on my IPhone 4s in a jam. I see fidelity offers an ap for its active trader pro with streaming quotes and level 2 for the IPad. I believe I would have everything I have on my laptop. Is anybody here using this set-up and how much life do you have on a charge on the IPad. I am hoping I could turn it on and leave it run for the trading day on the battery. good luck all with your trades. Bow

      Thank you all for the input, Doc, it sounds like we are using similar platforms for our trading, I will pick up an IPad, these old eyes can barely see the numbers on my IPhone, so its on to the IPad. Thanks again and good luck all. Bow

      Hi Bow,

      I use the iPad often or my iPhone(4S) to trade, and I use Fidelity ATP also. The down side is the lack of graphing because of Flash not being present on Apple products. It lasts all day, I also am on the road and I can charge there, if needed, or on a USB connection to my other computers. It has been useful to trade on the go...hope that helps??

      Be careful. I find that Fidelity's Ipad apps don't function as well as on a Laptop.
      I never tried Active trader pro for Ipad.
      And I am a big Fidelity fan. I have all my accounts there. They are my bank, my broker , my IRA and 401k custodian. I saw glitches in the regular Fidelity app for Ipad.
