    SS Disability #2

Texas has taxes. They tax company revenues at a very low rate rather than taxing profits at a higher rate. It is like having a sales tax but it is collected at the company instead of at the retail store. It is completely non progressive because everyone pays it when they buy the products that the company makes. And for some reason they like this better than taxing profits. Maybe because they consider it a cost of doing business that they simply pass on to the consumer. But because they get so much money this way they don't have to have as many other taxes.
