OT: Has the Bull Market Officially Begun on Early 2013 ... ?

I have been observing the market and it is not acting like it usually does. Last year and the year before we used to have 3-4 bad gloomy trading days for every 1 good market day. Now it seems to me that the "Market" is somehow scoring new "highs" every day, (even BMY and EPD) somehow are growing wings and rocket motors and rising into the heavens like a NASA rocket. Somehow the values of stocks are rising even after they already gone "ex-dividend". It seems that everyone is now "optimistic about the Market" and we will have Paradise on Earth soon and Mother Theresa will even come to join us...lol (me lmao with sarcasm).

The market has risen 1,000 points since early January...doesn't that seem a bit unusual?

Would you say or think that a Bull Market has begun and no one has noticed yet...

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • I think we may still be seeing the January Effect in action, but there may be a more structural change in play as well. The generalized market news is more upbeat and there have also been some recent articles citing a reduction of bond and cash positions in favor of equities. Makes some sense- the European doomsday seems to have been taken off the table for the moment and there are no in-your-face negative catalysts immediately apparent.

      I'm below 10% cash atm.

    • What are you talking about_we have been in a bull since 09
