Anyone know what's making them run up like that? I'm holding NTI shares and CVRR calls,I wish yahoo would open the MB's on them. Cvrr should be declaring distribution soon, then it should really take off.
Not really. All refiners with access to mid-con oil seemed to do well including VLO and HFC. I think it's the fundamentals: crude prices are down, refined products are down but not as much, and the WTI - Brent spread widened a little. Plus, it felt like a short squeeze, but you would have to be crazy to short NTI.
Last year, I bought 63,500 shares of MTGE, and sold them [probably should have kept some] after two divies .... that made my year. This year, the 40,000 shares of NTI I bought is doing the same thing for me. I could sell out of everything right now, and it would be a good year ... past my goal. Love this market.
NMM is a stock that I think could edge up for many years, and a nice stock for diversity. What is HCPL ... that didn't come up for me. I used to own STON, but got mad when I was up $20K only to wait too long, and watch my gain fall to $2K before I sold. Big day for them ... good for diversity ... nice divy. Investors that live in certain states are forced to file a state return for this company. California is not one of them [where I live], but I would look into that a little .... not the end of the world.
