I put in an order to sell to open 50 contracts at 0.72. I plan to increase this position, up to -170 contracts depending on market factors.
Got to love the friendly MM on the call side. Bid/ask 1.50/1.40 on the Apr. 31s so say 1.45 on the current price of 32.39 he is giving a generous 6 cents of "vig" for the next 6 weeks lol.
That's the dividend talking. It overprices the Puts and keeps the Calls right on the deck. I'm surprised you can get a bid above the intrinsic, that doesn't always happen (in fact it already doesn't, since the bid/ask is 1.30/1.45 with an underlying of 32.39 as of right now).
-60 contracts now
Position closed, $300 profit after fees.
IWB - Interesting play, shorting the April 31's now that the SPO is out of the way. Puts you in at 30.28, net if assigned in April.
Are you expecting sub-$31 prices in April? Post-div price should be in the 32's. Then we wait for another SPO. April would be a bit early for a SPO.
