Just thought I'd share with the board that we're entering a great long term buying opportunity with SAN.
Couple key notes
It is located in Spain but only 20% of its business model is based there
Dividends can be taken as additional shares to avoid Spanish withholding tax
The bank is actually doing well the downturn comes mostly from negativity involving Europe
Santander is a gigantic worldwide operation. I owned a lot of it back in the early 2000's, when the stock NYSE symbol was STD. A lot of money has been made and lost on this stock in the last few years. A investor or trader has to be real careful with it now. There are numerous geopolitical issues that can impact it, both postive and negative. Good luck!
