Tomorrow is (X+4), the initial "look" at the Cornerstone CEFs, (CLM, CRF and CFP), if Glad/3% is met. The other CEF, Nuveen's JTP was entry yesterday. It is already up over 1% today. How many are with me on that trade yesterday? I haven't heard "Boo" from anybody about this stock other than Jess's promise to look at it. IMO, it is the most consistent of the SS. There are some different Rules , for JTP, I outlined on the thread with JTP in the title.
I am convinced, more than ever, of the viability of this trading model. 30% ROI annualized(Glad/3%), doubles your trading capital every 2.4 years.
I didn't have a chance to look at JTP before yesterday, Doc...I will look for an opportunity to enter in the future (no foul, just slow). ;) If nothing shows up this month...I'll be there for next month.
I have a fairly long drive-time for my work. I listen to books-on-tape (actually, on iPhone) alot. I started Trading in the Zone, tonight. Sounds like I am going to like it and get lots out of it. Thank you!
In my convalescence...bed couching....I have Douglass's book on in the background while I read, like elevator music. This is my third listen. I am still gleaning, plus it builds confidence in knowing you are doing what is correct and indeed Trading in the Zone....;-)
Gotta love JTP, Btw. It even rivals your CLM find. Lets keep looking....
Doc - the Cornerstones looked interesting. The various pre and post ex's seemed to converge for possible entry thusly: CFP Wed-Fri, CRF Fri-Tues, and CLM Fri-Wed. I'd look for an exit probably Thurs-Fri 5/9-5/10.
I did not include JPS in the group I am personally trading MrPhil n that JTP was much more consistent and suffered less draw down historically than JPS. Having said that, JPS is a great cyclic stock and should do well. My recommended Sweet Six for future trading are:
I still look daily for more 90+% monthly historical win rate securities....JTP is.... @ 96.6% going back 29 months.
