Sorry folks but this stock is not the "lowest hanging fruit". Everything else is going up and this laggard is continuing it's down trend of going sideways as best. There are easier ways to make money now days than this. It seems to me that owning this stock today would have been stubborn on my part so I decided to correct my earlier mistake. I will look for another entry in the future. I never bought into the LTB&H theory. Well, I did once but that was when I used to lose money consistently.
Have any of you cheerleaders any idea why mREITS (not just this one) are falling when market is up!?!? Does that even tell you anything? You have already seen 2 dead cat bounces. Taking blind stabs at bottoms is dangerous to one's wealth - because this sector hasn't even rolled over yet. Whatever you earn in your dividend (provided they won't be cut), doesn't even make up the losses you get in less than 1 week. Doubling down now is like sending you faster to the poor house. Isn't the trend your friend? What is the trend saying for mREITS? Do I need to pull a chart up for you? I would rather take an early small relaized loss than to hold on to a large unrealized loss, and unable to unload.
Ray certainly no one likes a loss or a decline in paper profits. Even if you bought AGNC for income__what management under acheived during the last quarter portends another income decrease. It would be easy to say you sold into fear, but you are responsible for your own funds. The thing here is I am not sure where the fear is coming from since it is acroos the whole sector. ARR (dog with fleas) I understand.
Just waiting for a lower buy point. It seems I jumped the gun when I bought at $29. As it looks like we are going lower. I could be wrong but that is what I believe from observing the price action. There is no point in owning a stock that seems to have more sellers than buyers. Well, unless you have a disdain for money and like giving it away. I don't have a disdain for money.
Here here, Katy! Oh, is Hear Here still around even? I won't be sorry to see the political stuff gone, however, I am very concerned about the future of mReits...isn't there going to be an end to this gravy train, someday? And is that now?
I sure don't know, but I am not very happy with what went on today..
I would very much appreciate others' opinions.
I wish you luck in your future investments but I would have spent 6 months collecting a couple of Divy's first to mitigate the loss. And who knows - it might not be a loss in 6 months. Fortune favors the patient Investor who thinks long term.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
