That's on a 1% rise in mortgage rates? Consider what will be the long term performance as mortgage rates adjust to historic norms. I owned this in 2009 at $15 looking for $30. Haven't owned it for years. Just a no brainer. I think it sees $15 again in '14.
This is just my opinion and my view. I don't know the future.
For someone who luvs tp post 'guru' type predictions__you sure stumble into amatuer statements. I myself knew for sure you are a rank amatuer when you posted your idiocy about commodities last summer. Well now apparently your knowledge of Treasury offerings is no better than your commodity knowledge. For anyone who has been tempted to follow dr. chumps ridiculous forecasts__realize this THERE ISNO SUCH THING AS A 10 YEAR T-BILL
It is not 1% it is 1 point rise. Which for 10 year it from 1.5 to 2.5 to 3 almost 100% rise in rates, with 8 X leverage and fact that book value if still around $25, it seems pretty good and well managed. I don't see another crazy jump in rates coming soon. Slow rise in rates is not a big deal, it is normal business.
