Note the accelerating M&A's in this sector and the blast-off in the stocks: DIGE, DADE (today rocketing on Siemen's acquisition), BEC (rocketing today on buyout speculation; GPRO (also rocketing on the same). Feels like a trend that's not going away. Big industrials or Pharma's who want in on this space. QGEN is still an acquisition target - especially after digesting DIGE. Either way, the 2008 and 2009 growth should be strong.
