    couldn't let that go by...even if the vaccines were 100% protective (they aren't) and even if 100% of the target population were vaccinated (they won't be) there would still be a need to screen every woman who is already sexually active as of 2007 for the rest of their lives, and in fact, with a lower prevalence of hpv in the vaccinated population, a more sensitive screen will be required...the vaccine has been a net positive in terms of awareness so although there may be other issues related to the merger, the concept of hpv screening remains intact...adoption is another matter, as is potential competition, but the vaccine is a non-event other than being good PR
