    Skidmark Times- Weekend Edition

Cindy Sheehan only asks one question: What is the mission in Iraq?
    Not one Neo-Geopundit has answered.
    Here's one answer:
The American Revolution needs a mini-me.
We agreed to hang together in 1776 cause we knew we'd hang seperately, (Franklin). We agreed on virtually nothing else.
Our country was born with the original sin of state's rights which had to be cleansed with the blood of 600k Americans in our civil war, four score and four years later, (same war as 1776?)
Are we still at war with ourselves? SUV and the Cellphone: Soccor Moms terrorizing four cylinder Camrys.
Have we lost control of the self fulfilling engine of destiny envisioned by the high priests of the 100 year old, "Clan of the Car"?
A snapshot of our society: Ruminative mall rats chewing on the psycho-sexual bait which hides the roadkill of our internally combustable foreign and domestic policies.

    • I am afraid you are correct. The Quoran states many times that unbelievers {infidels} have three choices when under Muslim control:
1] Become a Muslim and worship Allah
2] Pay a tax and become a second class citizen in the Muslim community with a loss of basic rights
      3]Be put to death
Do you have any doubt as to the choice our liberal friends would make?

    • I wish you were convincing someone.

The neocon cowards wholly, completely, absolutely, totally, with every fiber of their being hate Bill Clinton. Nothing else matters to them. They would gladly surrender the country to Saddam or any other pissant terrorist if they could only kill Bill Clinton.

The fact that their Bushler neocon rhetoric results in the death of American civilians and soldiers is immaterial to them. Just ask Rush Oxycontinbaugh, Annity Coulter, Tom (I fought the war on bugs!) DeLay, et al.

I wish that you could convert them, but Im afraid there is no hope. They are not capable of logic, common sense, or rational thinking. They just hate.

And skirk, and spout their chickenhawk cowardice, from a safe distance.

    • I wish you were convincing someone. The liberals wholly, completely, absolutely, totally, with every fiber of their being hate George Bush. Nothing else matters to them. They would gladly surrender the country to Saddam or any other pissant terrorist if they could only impeach George Bush like they believe was wrongly done to their great hero. The fact that their rhetoric results in the death of American civilians and soldiers is immaterial to them. Just ask Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, et al. I wish that you could convert them, but Im afraid there is no hope. They are not capable of logic, common sense, or rational thinking. They just hate.

    • Is a link or footnote mising?

    • Thanks for bleating in, sheep for brains. Note that no one expects any facts from you, you've already done a fine job of lowering expectations.

    • You keep ignoring the basic fact. By attacking Iraq with a pack of lies, we've handed Al Qaeda a major propaganda victory, and shot our allies in the back.

"We're fighting them there, so we don't have to fight them here". The "Cheney Doctrine" and thus, of course, a lie.

      h**p://www.boston.com/news/world/middleeast/articles/2005/07/17/study_cites_seeds_of_terror_in_iraq/

Fact is, we've turned Iraq into an al Qaeda recruitment poster and training zone. Way to go, shrub!

=>However, interrogations of nearly 300 Saudis captured while trying to sneak into Iraq and case studies of more than three dozen others who blew themselves up in suicide attacks show that most were heeding the calls from clerics and activists to drive infidels out of Arab land, according to a study by Saudi investigator Nawaf Obaid, a US-trained analyst who was commissioned by the Saudi government and given access to Saudi officials and intelligence.

A separate Israeli analysis of 154 foreign fighters compiled by a leading terrorism researcher found that despite the presence of some senior Al Qaeda operatives who are organizing the volunteers, ''the vast majority of [non-Iraqi] Arabs killed in Iraq have never taken part in any terrorist activity prior to their arrival in Iraq."<=

P.S. Try and focus on the big picture and look at the problem from a world wide perspective. And not a self serving, lying, neocon pile of manure perspective.

    • You keep ignoring the basic fact--the terrorism started under Carter's administration and has continued under all subsequent presidents. Try and focus on the big picture and look at the problem from a world wide perspective.

    • If we don't recognize this, our nation as we know it will not survive, and no other free country in the World will survive if we are defeated. And finally, name any Muslim countries throughout the world that allow freedom of speech, freedom of thought, freedom of religion, freedom of the press, equal rights for anyone -- let alone everyone, equal status or any status for women, or that have been productive in one single way that contributes to the good of the world.

This has been a long way of saying that we must be united on this war or we will be equated in the history books to the self-inflicted fall of the Roman Empire. If, that is, the Muslim leaders will allow history books to be written or read.

If we don't win this war right now, keep a close eye on how the Muslims take over France in the next 5 years or less. They will continue to increase the Muslim population of France and continue to encroach little by little, on the established French traditions. The French will be fighting among themselves, over what should or should not be done, which will continue to weaken them and keep them from any united resolve. Doesn't that sound eerily familiar?

Democracies don't have their freedoms taken away from them by some external military force. Instead, they give their freedoms away - politically correct - piece by politically correct piece. And they are giving those freedoms away to those who have shown, worldwide, that they abhor freedom and will not apply it to you or even to themselves, once they are in power. They have universally shown that when they have taken over, they then start brutally killing each other over who will be the few who control the masses. Will we ever stop hearing from the politically correct, about the "peaceful Muslims"?

I close on a hopeful note, by repeating what I said above. If we are united, there is no way that we can lose. I hope now after the election, the several factions in our country will begin to focus on the critical situation we are in, and will unite to save our country. It is your future we are talking about! Do whatever you can to preserve it. We all must do this, not only for ourselves, but for our children, our grandchildren, our country and the world.

Whether Democrat or Republican, conservative or liberal and that includes the Politicians and media of our country and the free world. Please forward this to any you feel may want, or NEED to read it. Our "leaders"* in Congress ought to read it, too. There are those that find fault with our country, but it should be obvious to anyone who recognizes the seriousness of our situation - we must UNITE!
