What that really means is that ALCOA MISSED by a mile.

Not true, adjusting for Tapoco, they were in line at 6 cents a share. Maybe you are bearish on the stock which is fine but you should at least be sure your facts are correct.
Even with that it looks like a profit, not a loss.
