Over production was forecasted to be higher this year, but I recent read a short article about the Chinese and, I believe, an Australian firm shutting down plants that will come pretty close to eliminating the over capacity. Anyone have any info on those shutdowns or other capacity info?
Yes, pricing is not good. It's kind of dead money until capacity comes more into line with demand. Like I said, there were those proposed shutdowns (non AA), but info was sketchy and I don't know if it was happening soon or 6 months from now ... just heard it was 2013. Otherwise this is just a hedge in case the inflation everyone is expecting, but not getting, happens.
