Barring any massive market crash, i think AA has reached its 20 year lows.

Good time to accumulate over the next 2 quarter for holding several years out, as the demand for high end aluminum only increases.
This is a no Brainer at these levels.

    • stop listening to Klaus and his bs. go look at alum prices on the LME....they are falling, then go look at trader sentiment for's universal traders are positioning for alum to continue to fall.

There is a massive glut of Alum and massive over capacity in this sector.

AA's own report showed deep weakness qtr over qtr, if not for their cute accounting gimmick they would have posted a eps loss.

AA still has no way to address their massive debt, LME is going to wipe out all the premy with the rule change, they are fighting with the pensions, the DOJ is gonna make them pay 200mil + for other lawsuits..

And Chinese and Indian companies are rapidly taking over Alcoa's old customers, to think auto manufactures will use the dinosaur and over priced AA when they could use someone else is wishful at best.

This company has nowhere to go but down....

but by all means continue to buy this chronic loser

    • The market is overdue for a correction.
