    Insider Stock Transactions

    Well if the corporate management want to issue themselves stock options, or more simply put: a lucrative executive privlege or company perk, management then becomes part of the "shareholders group" and as you said with little or no out of pocket cost. As stockholders, they would certainly like the price of the stock to rise because that in turn would increase the value of their respective positions. However one interesting point to make here is that it's all gravy whether it's six bucks a share or ten - so you could be justified in saying they have not shown ample results in promoting sales growth. Growing sales takes a lot of concentrated focus on identifying your target market, related product line(s) and how to effectively market the product.
