Today was an interesting day and a long time in coming. Equifax was last at that level, $44.50+/-, at the time of the TALX merger. Everyone counts things at certain bench marks. That is mine. There was another one when Jack Rogers took on Telecredit. It took the company about 4 years of banging by the market to overcome that one. We at Equifax have not been too smart in aquisitions outside our core business of credit reporting. But, like lots of illnesses time heals and in equities markets forget. Old people like me don't. Let us all say our prayers tonight that Mr. Smith has read his history books.
