My new shares, warrants and cash were posted after the market closed.
RJ, That's correct no capital gain if the shares are in an IRA.

If I had 100 shares of EP and I selected the stock -warrant option, what should the conversion show?
My acct is showing
42 shares of Kim
62 shares warrants.
This doesn't seem right.
Everyone that asked for all stock got the mixed election: cash, stock and warrants. Is there extra cash in your account?
As of 3PM this date I still do not have KMI shares in my Morgan Stanley Smith Barney account.
I checked a few minutes ago with Ameriprise and the shares are not there. I did not select any option as you get the default option with no option selected. I am hope to save the $40. fee by not doing a selection. However, I am not sure I saved anything until my account is settled.
Together with stock, cash and warrents, couldn't Kinder throw in a few Chilli Dogs to sweeten the deal?
did you have to pay a transaction fee? I did, $30.
I had to ask Scottrade to waive $30 fee after some complaint.
Scottrade has not posted mine. What is your brokerage?
After the market closed online my Ameriprise accounts showed El Paso merged but no KMI shares, warrants, or new cash. I called them up and the shares are in at the broker side and have to be moved over with the sweep over night to show online in the accounts. So they are there but the account has not been updated to replace the El Paso stock with merger securities. It will be nice to have cash with the market down.
As soon as I called Scottrade, magically my account showed KIM shares, cash and warrants.
