keepshortin, you are dead wrong on UXG. McEwen is orchestrating a sweet deal for shareholders with his way below market take over of Minera Andes. after the deal is done. UXG will have Minera Andes production revenue to fuel UXG exploration efforts.
it's a marriage made in heaven and shareholders will benefit.
UXG is already listed on the NYSE, not Minera Andes. you got your facts jumbled. but keepshortin UXG and see how that works out for you.
I am not short UXG. I bought it all the way down during the 2008 crash and dumped it all on the way up. The only gold stock that I am short is GORO.
I dont have my facts jumbled. You don't know McEwen's plans. McEwen wants to get US Gold into the sp500 and that requires at least a market cap of 3 billion. That is the only reason for the merger with Minera. Lexam VG Gold might be scooped up too, another company he owns a ton of shares.
The point is, after all these mergers the shares will be diluted and the upside potential is now capped (unless gold goes bananas and hits something crazy like 3000,4000 etc).
There is still a massive CEO premium in US Gold and TRX.
