yeah, that was kind of a brainless argument -- here are 3 prices over the years showing a trend of decline! nevermind that I picked the highs, I have good intentions!
actually, in the future, I contend that price of the stocks will NOT matter and may in fact be a risky valuation. If the value of the dollar or whatever currency that we're using at the time is going to be up in the air, with potentially wild daily swings, you want your income in gold (or the warehouse receipts which Jim says is the plan). We simply don't know what the future holds.
TRX outperforming UXG.
Two shares in a bullmarket:
Ludwig, I must say that as someone that was nothing but nice to you and reached out to be a friend, you and your buddies at cometry gold turned out to be super a##holes. Not every new investor wants or is willing to be treated like crap. So shame on you.
"It is however consistent with what happened in 2005. So sell the spike back to the short and enjoy. "
After carefull review of pasts posts and a personal understanding of how you and your crew operate at cometry gold, I can't let it pass.
You take my post, which is not negative at all but an honest discussion and you reply back as a negative. That kind of bullying technique that you get a pass on, I'm not giving you a pass. I did not say anywhere in my post that I would sell that spike. I simply pointed out what JS has said inthe past, and that some may sell that spike. Anyone that is a trader, knows what I said is true. So, stop the crap, I will call u out on it, u can ban people from your cometry gold, but not here. Bullys are crap in my opinon. I teach my grandchildren to bloody their nose just like i was taught as a kid. You and your ilk are bad news but hold no water as far as I am concerned.
"It is my opinion that he would have no problem saving up positive developments and divulging them at the most opportune time when it would throw fuel on a short squeeze. hehehe"
That opinion isn't consistent with what JS said, in that he doesn't want to promote an unsustainable stock price. Like JS said, you buy a fishing line and when it goes vertical you sell it. What your describing would create a vertical pop that would certainly undergo a correction as even investment logs would find it tempting to sell.
It's also not consistent with his statement recently (Aug. 12) '....we will keep everyone fully apprised of our activities'. Keeping positive developments secret would be in conflict with that.
Over 95% of its existence trx has been below 6. As low as 1.60 in 2008 as low as 2.60 in 2009 as low as 3.6 in 2010. I appreciate the shorts effort to contain the all time high. You wont succeed though.
As I said, the only sign of success is if the stock goes up. Nothing more.
It is doing none of that at this time. We can say what happened in the past or what will happen in the future will turn things around.
Two months ago TRX was at 7.50. 6 years ago it was at 9. Now it is at 5.77.
Lets try this again.
When one compares performance they use a benchmark. Your benchmark applied to most junior exploration stocks would result in a similar outcome to TRX. My research shows TRX performance against gold, it has nothing to do with the one moment in time you have selected.
So I have to repeat myself.
Ok, lets turn this into a rational discussion again as you avoid my comparison but expect me to respect yours.
If we go back to May 12, 2005 and place TRE(X) vs. GLD TRX is up over 600% while GLD is up less than 400%.
Starting from the same date the performance of TRX is actually nearly identical to that of AEM (Agnico Eagle).
Therefore TRX is actually outperforming gold and performing as well as AEM and its also outperforming UXG and NEM for the same time period.
Do you understand why your argument does not apply now?
