WF put out a research report on 10/26 about Vail's acquisition of Northstar-at-Tahoe.
It was a pretty short report, with not a lot of detail or color beyond their summary.
"SUMMARY. Vail Resorts acquired the Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort for $63MM, increasing its proforma 2009/10 skier visits by 11.5% and its mountain resorts under the Epic Pass to eight for the 2010/11 season. While the financial disclosures of the transaction were light - expect more details on the Q1 earnings call - we believe this is a smart acquisition for the company in that Northstar is a well maintained, growing resort, it creates synergies with Heavenly, spreads the company's G&A across a larger platform, expands Vail's offerings under Epic for its guests, and appears to be a relatively inexpensive source of growth for Vail. Maintaining Outperform rating."
