The CEO of Fair Issaics just did article in WSJ stating that TX is currently seeing the single worst deteriation in consumer FICO scores. I must admit I'm a little perplexed on this one. Hey I'm sure he is right, he is the CEO of the company that creates the numbers. But I'd think that given the mortgage business fiasco is hitting states like FL, CA, DC and a few others much harder than TX, that consumers balance sheets in TX would be performing better than many of states. Who knows, but interesting factoid to keep in mind if it is true regarding possible ramifications for TX banks.
