Why doesn't CFR expand in El Paso?

Anyone know? Seems logical that they would, but I see that their are no branches there or not anywhere in west TX that is. Strange...

      Banker explains the Frost strategy

Q: Frost's slogan is "We're From Here," but its branches can't be found in
      every Texas town. Why?

A: We operate only in the major markets in Texas - Houston, Dallas, Fort
Worth, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi and the Rio Grande Valley.

That's not accidental. I grew up in Uvalde. My wife is from an even smaller
town, Rock Springs. I love rural Texas. But we operate where 70 percent of the
population is and where the average income is $3,000 to $5,000 greater than the
total average of Texas and where the growth of Texas is taking place.

    • Janus...You are the ETERNAL MORON..."why doesn't CFR expand into El Paso?" Why not actually BUY SOME OF THE STOCK...GO TO THE ANNUAL MEETING...and then ask Dick Evans?
      You're pathetic!
I am a former owner of Overton Bancshares...bought out by Frost...and I want you to know that your WORTHLESS DIATRIBE IS BEING WASTED ON THIS WEBSITE...WHY NOT TRY THE OLD WAY...OWNING STOCK...AND BITCHING AS TO HOW THINGS OUGHT TO BE? Your Pal...Alan Lenell...

    • haha
have you been to El Paso lately?
I think cfr just wants to expand in Texas.
