I beg to differ with your stochastic #'s but: 1) using bigcharts.com with a 1 yr timeframe and a weekly frequency both slow & fast stochastics are way into overbought around 80. 2) Now if I use daily for the frequency they appear to be about 40.
Why would you use daily for frequency? Not good my man. Really interested to hear what parameters and charting utility you used.
Most parameters (i.e., RSI, etc.) have been into overbought region for some time also. This doesn't necessarily mean that the stock will go down but I find the risk/reward at these levels to be much higher. The easy money has been made already on this one until the MM's manage to shake the long's tree and drive price down to lowe 40's. On the plus side, and it is a big plus is RSTI's mgmt & continuing great performance. If it goes sideways for 4 more wks till earnings then I might get back in. Might jump in before that timeframe if I feel more comfortable with the risk/reward - nothing in concrete her.
Yes, stocks take time to consolidate & roll-over. Like I said before the "2-wk" statement just didn't make sense.
