ha genetic ...if you were making ur investments based on PE valuations there would be a million other "cheap" stocks out there right now.....PE is not how u should look at this company its EBITDA and enrollments...when you are growing enrollments by around 42% a year u deserve a d@mn high PE but still not what u should look at....people have shyed away from EBITDA valuations because of all the debt issues many companies have had yet K12 has NO debt......i think the 15-17 dollar range is the bottom for this stock..id get in on monday before the call...not going to be as bad as the Street has built in already...
I'll wait for the earnings, more importantly the outlook, to get in or not. This is still a relatively high PE stock dependent on large revenue and earnings growth with the headwind of state budget problems, stimulus or not.
This is a good sign for the company. If the earnings were bad you would not go on a road show to promote the company. They would not want to continually answer questions about a bad quarter.

I agree. The stock price has suffered because many thought the current national state budget deficit problems would adversely affect LRN's bottom line. Truth is Education budgets are essential and will be sustained.
I've said it before, the stock price will rebound later in 2009 when this company continues to show strong growth...
