    Why i like utilities

Twin beat estimates still tank after tanking for the last few months. Then I got wacked on CRDN doesn't matter if the company is selling below book. They just started paying a dividend, again the idea that a company starts paying a dividend means something good is fools gold. I haven't had a day like this in a while but it keeps you humble thats for sure. Then you ask yourself whats the point but you get up dust yourself off and chalk it up to lessons learn.

    • That's the spirit, sir--was hoping today would be a rush to buy, but what can you do? Get back up and keep at it. Still believe that the company and management are on the right track for the long haul.

      • There is no mercy in this market. it's the future that we all feel is so bleak that is why i think stocks act the way they do. it feels very much like the days when Jimmy Carter was in charge of the country everything felt so hopeless and tired but then Reagan came along and made people feel good about things and the economy changed for the better. not sure anybody can do that now, but i can't imagine another 4 years of obama dividing the country and wanting some world order to run things

    • I agree lesson learned....The game is all about sediment nowadays. The numbers are basically meaningless anymore. Value = a stock heading in the wrong direction...i know this so why can't a stop buying companies like this i continue to ask myself!!! need to be a momo guy and be nimble to make a buck.
